About Amy M.

Main motivation
In my role in Team Talent, I have the opportunity to positively influence change and create a better working environment for our people. I’m motivated by seeing my efforts have a real impact. Employees are a company’s greatest asset, and I consider myself an advocate for their needs. I gather insights on what motivates employees, keeps them happy, and what they want from their workplace, then work with key decision-makers to implement and sustain positive changes. This could involve rolling out new benefits, promoting work-life balance, or encouraging career development opportunities. At PageUp we have an amazing feedback culture so our employees make this part easy!
Top advice
HR is never boring because every person is unique. No two days are the same in my role and the variety keeps me motivated. Most of the time you can never plan for the conversations you have with employees so be open and be able to adapt depending on how the conversation goes. Be aware that a conversation or situation may not go down the path you envisaged, but be able to change your direction if needed otherwise you will get lost. There is usually no "one size fits all" approach to every situation so you need to be practical and think of the end goal and what is the best outcome in each scenario.

What steps would you suggest a current client take to become an employee?
I’ve learned a vast amount of the PageUp system and would love the opportunity to share that with new clients and to help them through implementation.
