You work best when your life works too, so if you need a flexible work arrangement, we’ll do what it takes to support you. This isn’t just about having the freedom to work a bit earlier or later here or there – it’s about you telling us what works best for you. We’re also really lucky to have homes all over the world. For some of us, that’s meant the opportunity to pack our bags and set up shop somewhere new. For others, it’s been about stretching out that trip to New York just a little longer, by working from our US office for a week or two.
When it comes to your career, we want you to be in the driver’s seat. We’re proud to be an ambitious and expanding organisation with room for our people to move and grow—and we help them get there however we can. That means learning and development programs, conferences, external training, relevant study support, coaching and mentoring. We also run a yearly grad program which fosters a culture of learning that we’re really proud of.
If you’ve done something great, we think it’s worth making a fuss about. It might be with a callout at our monthly CEO briefing (with a cash prize to boot), or with an end of year celebration with your team. Other times, it’s as simple as a healthy dose of cake on your birthday. We’ve also got a referral program to say thanks if you ever bring someone into the business who’s as great as you are.
At the end of the day we’re a people company, so looking out for the health and wellbeing of our people and the wider community is key. For you, that means having fresh fruit in the office, flu vaccinations, ergonomic setups, volunteer leave and an annual health and wellbeing benefit.
As a group, it’s more about making sure our people feel connected. We do that with things like weekly catch ups, social events and CEO briefings. It gives us the chance to unwind, have a laugh and share what we’ve all been up to.
As for the world outside our offices, that’s where the HandsUp team comes in. They get involved in important initiatives in our local and global communities and figure out how we can best give back—whether it’s through sponsorship, donations or volunteering our people to help.
Big ideas can come from anywhere in the company. That’s why we run TuneUp—a hackathon where everyone (regardless of their role) can share their ideas with the wider team to help us build better products for our customers.
Once ideas are pitched, people from across the company join in to work on the project that inspires them most. After some research, ideation and experimentation, the teams present their final projects and we crown the winners, who also take home some sweet prizes.
