Is work hours fixed, or is it flexi time?

Also, if you work on sprints, and finish your tasks way early, can you spend the remaining time on learning work related stuff/new tech etc..?

Hi Beverly! Thank you for your question. Yes, we have a very flexible work arrangement and we do encourage people to take time for personal development (i.e. learning new tech stacks regardless if it is related to the technologies we use or not).

Aside from that, we also have a dedicated time every Friday we call "LearnUp" where engineers are given some free time to hone their skills on whatever topic they choose.

We don't monitor workhours... we don't even have a system to capture them :)
We are output oriented and if you want to spend some time in the middle of the day to attend a software talk, watch a Pluralsight video or cook a meal, it's all good.

We are trusted to do our jobs and do them well. With this comes flexibility. Each fortnight I drop my daughters to school and start later on those weeks. I am accountable to deliver great results and make my clients Raving Fans. Whether we've developing our stack or implementing it, that is our main goal.
