THE ROLE

We are excited to announce a newly established position for an Organisational Development Consultant to join our Talent team in Melbourne.

Reporting into the Organisation Development & Coaching Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the global business by developing and implementing key People & Development initiatives. These initiatives are crucial in enhancing the effectiveness of our leaders, employees, and overall organisational culture of PageUp group.

WHY THIS ROLE?

You will be empowered to understand and execute impactful initiatives where you will see the real difference it makes to employee and leaders' experience. Whilst working within a supportive team that fosters collaboration and positivity, you will enjoy the autonomy to drive outcomes independently. You will engage in a diverse range of tasks across various regions, products, leadership levels, and capabilities within the organisation, each presenting its own unique challenges.

This role also offers ample opportunities for personal and professional growth, allowing you to shape and develop the role according to your interests and goals. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to directly influence leadership decisions and strategies, making a significant impact on the organisation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Take ownership of launching our regular engagement surveys, analyse and communicate the results, and support teams and leaders in developing and executing action plans based on the survey findings.
  • Conduct long-term analysis of survey data to identify trends and provide insights for organisational improvement.
  • Design and develop high quality content for employee and leadership development programs, tailored to the organisational needs to drive effectiveness and capability.
  • Support various leadership development programs, including assessments, developmental initiatives, and leadership communities.
  • Assist in planning, communication, and collaboration with all business units and regions to complete regular career pathing exercises.
  • Partner with key Team Talent members in the planning, communication, and execution of regular performance review processes. Focus on reporting and analysing performance results, with particular attention to areas of concern.
  • Act as a point of support for any questions or concerns related to performance, career pathing, or talent management from the business.
  • Providing ongoing support as needed on various projects as they arise based on organisational needs, such as DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) initiatives and cultural values.

ABOUT YOU

Required skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 2 years) in the Learning & Development or Organisational Development fields, with hands-on involvement in designing and implementing development programs and initiatives.

  • Strong critical thinking skills with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Adept at balancing the needs of both the business and employees, and skilled in navigating complex, ambiguous situations to find effective solutions.

  • Comfortable working in environments with undefined parameters or 'grey areas,' and able to initiate and drive projects from a blank slate, showing resilience and creativity.

  • A natural curiosity demonstrated by the ability to connect disparate pieces of information to uncover meaningful insights and tell compelling stories from data and observations.

  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Skilled at building relationships and influencing a wide range of individuals, including team leaders and senior management.

  • Experience in establishing and nurturing relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to influence and engage effectively at all levels within the organisation.

  • Eager to continuously learn and adapt, with a proactive approach to acquiring new skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

  • Strong organisational abilities with a keen sense of prioritisation, ensuring that tasks and projects are managed efficiently and effectively.

  • Practical and commonsensical approach to work, demonstrating sound judgement and decision-making in everyday tasks and strategic initiatives.

  • Possesses strong analytical skills for data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and extract meaningful insights from data.

  • Design and develop engaging learning content tailored for employees and leaders.
