About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Junior Customer Account Executive to join our Australian team. In this role, you will be focused on nurturing and growing our existing client base across the Australian region. Working in close partnership with your Strategic Account Management counterpart, as well as senior sales leaders and cross-functional teams. We are looking for someone with a strategic mindset, excited by the opportunity to add value to our Customers across Australia. 

You will be expected to analyse and build an intimate understanding of your Customers, identifying ‘white space’ where there is opportunity to promote, present, and sell new products and services, ranging from full software modules through to professional services and our exciting AI roadmap for 2026. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with strong foundational sales skills who is eager to master software-as-a-service (SaaS) sales, build executive-level relationship skills, and grow into a top-tier Account Manager or Executive.

 

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

  • Learn & Drive Product Expansion: Identify opportunities within your assigned client portfolio to introduce and convert clients to our full suite of modules.
  • Nurture C-Level Relationships: Partner deeply with executive leadership and key stakeholders across your accounts, positioning PageUp as their preferred long-term talent management technology partner.
  • Manage Your Pipeline: Proactively manage your sales pipeline, executing deal strategies effectively to maintain a healthy forward-looking view and move opportunities efficiently through the sales cycle.
  • Maintain High Customer Activity: Keep up a strong, consistent cadence of client interactions, including virtual meetings, presentations, and strategic conversations to discover customer needs and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work hand-in-hand with our teams to support go-to-market strategies and deliver a seamless, high-touch experience for our buyers.
  • Commit to Operational Excellence: Prioritise excellent data hygiene by keeping our systems updated with clear next steps and closing strategies, ensuring a high-quality foundation for your territory.

 

About You

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: You naturally view challenges through the client's lens,  identifying matching product solutions, focusing deeply on their goals to provide a great sales experience and build long-term trust.
  • Sales Aptitude & Drive: You have a baseline of sales experience (e.g., as an SDR, BDR, or Associate Account Executive) and are eager to master negotiation, objection handling, and closing styles.
  • Eager and Enthusiastic Learner: You possess a natural curiosity, a coachable attitude, and a strong desire to acquire new skills. You actively seek out feedback to improve your sales craft.
  • Proactive Initiative: You are a self-motivated professional who takes complete ownership and personal accountability for your tasks and territory.
  • Strong Communicator: You possess outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with a natural ability to listen intently and explain ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
