The Role
Joining as a vital member of our global finance team, you will ensure the integrity and smooth execution of our financial operations. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end financial accounting – from core month-end close and reporting to contributing to strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to take a step up into their first Senior Financial Accounting role in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close processes and prepare financial statements for board reporting
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations for intercompany, accruals, and fixed assets
- Ensure general ledger integrity and accuracy of all financial transactions
- Support external audit processes and maintain compliance documentation
- Navigate complex Australian accounting standards and provide technical guidance
- Partner with tax team to deliver BAS and FBT returns
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements across finance operations
- Support treasury, accounts payable, and receivable functions
- Provide financial insights and reporting to senior leadership
- Assist with M&A activities including due diligence and data analysis
About You
- CA/CPA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software
- Prior experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) and Global setting is highly regarded
