Senior Product Manager

Melbourne, Australia

Senior Product Manager

  • Melbourne, Australia
  • Full time

Here's what we know for sure: companies work well when they've got the right people. That's what inspired us to build a SaaS platform that makes recruiting, onboarding, developing, and retaining people simple. From humble beginnings in Melbourne, we are now proud to have homes in Sydney, the USA, UK, Singapore, Manila, and Dublin. Our platform is used by 2.6 million customer-employee users in over 190 countries. (But that's enough about us.)

The Role

People are a company's greatest asset! We have an opportunity for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing global Product Team. Customers are at the heart of what we do, so it's important that our teams can effectively and efficiently deliver customer value by building the right thing. We combine design thinking and lean startup methodologies to enable us to do this.

As a Senior Product Manager in our team, and in collaboration with the Technology and Experience Design leads of your stream, you will:

  • Lead the scaling of partnerships for our SaaS marketplace and hiring experience strategy from opportunity sizing to end-to-end product development.
  • Own the strategic roadmap for your stream; you will ensure alignment to the overall company strategy and be accountable for measurable end-user, customer, and business outcomes.
  • Undertake analyses and use data to understand trends, provide actionable insights and track the impact of initiatives against our goals.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams on Sales Enablement and Go To Market strategies.
  • Develop effective working relationships with a diverse, global, cross-functional team, including Sales and Growth.

About you

We see you as a proactive, self-sufficient, and driven Product Manager with strong experience in commercialising marketplaces and ecosystems.

  • Experienced - you have 5+ years of proven experience owning and delivering the end-to-end Product development and innovation process of a customer-facing product using Design Thinking, Lean, and Agile development practices. Advantageously, you will have 2+ years managing 3rd party ecosystems.
  • Customer-Centric - the customer experience is always at the forefront of what you do. Understanding their behaviours and needs and involving them in the discovery and research process will allow you to know what we need to build and why?
  • Innovative - actively drive product innovation through purposeful experimentation, creativity, and conceptualization. You bring a design thinking and test and learn approach to product development.
  • Business acumen - you understand the business reality of delivering an outstanding product with appropriate ROI and weighing up conflicting business demands and priorities.
  • A collaborative leader - your passion is working with people and teams to share knowledge, enable empowerment, and drive better outcomes. You lead teams to solve problems together without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
  • Resourceful - You are comfortable navigating ambiguity at speed.
  • Experience in an Enterprise product environment would be advantageous but not essential.

So what makes us stand out?

This role has a broad scope; You will be empowered to drive change through the unique opportunity to influence and work across the business.
