People are a company's greatest asset! Luckily we realised that early on and built an innovative SaaS platform to help clients (and ourselves of course!) recruit, develop, engage and support their people. From our humble beginnings in Melbourne, we have grown consistently to be a leader in talent management software. We now have offices in Australia, New York, London, Dublin, Singapore and Manila.
The Opportunity at PageUp
This role will be leading a stream (group of development teams) that focus on our core platform. We are a leader in the SaaS talent management space and have some ambitious growth plans. This stream will be owning two key pillars for how we plan to continue growing; innovating to build the next generation of talent attraction software and disrupting our product by leveraging emerging technologies to drive great outcomes for our clients.
You will be working quite closely with a Senior Product Manager and Lead UX Designer to truely understand the jobs our users are 'hiring' our products to do. From there our teams have autonomy to pick the tools they use to solve the problems at hand. Sometimes that means using new technologies, other times that means using existing ones that we've built sensible defaults for. You will be leading the technical vision for the products within this stream and work closely with each development team to guide them on how to slice product into incremental value that we can release incrementally and frequently to enable a continuous feedback look (Build, Measure, Learn).
In this role you'll have development leads reporting directly into you, as such we would like you to have experience leading development/technical leads.
Your leadership attributes:
Our Technical Stack
We're fully hosted on AWS. Even the legacy part of our software is deployed daily to five AWS regions, where as our more modern code is in continuously delivered microservices & single page apps. As any successful software company with a long enough history will attest, we have a significant amount of product complexity and technical debt that we are wrangling with on any given day. We are aiming to tackle our product complexity by strategically and incrementally breaking up our .NET app into continuously delivered microservices and single-page apps.
