As a Senior Experience Designer, you will represent our different users’ pain points and needs based on research, data and a high level of collaboration. You will be responsible for planning, designing, guiding and implementing human-centred design principles to create delightful experiences for our diverse customers and end-users.
As part of a “Product Trio” (Design-Product-Tech) at the stream lead level, you will work to find the right balance of Desirability, Viability and Feasibility, with a strong emphasis on continuous discovery and cross-functional collaboration. This means that Experience Design has a lot of influence on strategy and decision making. Own and lead the end-to-end solution creation across teams; from user research and problem definition to ideation, solution sketching, prototyping, usability testing and UI design;
Conduct user research activities - customer interviews, concept testing, usability studies, A/B testing, competitor analysis, etc.;
Create, direct and validate user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, etc. Identify new opportunities to improve our design processes and push the bar;
Facilitate internal and external collaborative workshops; design sprints, ideation sessions, experimentation creation;
Ensure your designs and implementations are inclusive, accessible and usable to all uses;
Mentor and inspire the growth of cross-functional teams that are progressive, efficient and highly engaged;
Work in collaboration with product managers, tech leads, developers and stakeholders to push forward customer-centric design principles to create effective, cohesive design solutions that meet the needs of varied users.
You are a Senior Product or UX Designer with 5+ years of experience in a product company with an agile environment and 2+ years at a senior level coaching and mentoring Product or UX Designers;
You know how to do your customer research, analyse your findings and translate them into insights. Experience working with the Jobs-to-be-Done methodology is very nice to have;
You have an inclusive design mindset and excellent interaction design skills. You can test and validate your designs, including their accessibility with various users;
You are a great team player, highly collaborative and open to giving and receiving feedback. At the same time, you can work independently and make decisions while considering all data points;
You demonstrate real ownership and accountability in your decisions and work. You’ll be allowed to make mistakes as long as you own them, learn from them and adjust;
You are empathetic with a strong ability to listen and consider other people’s points of view. You push for diversity and inclusiveness as you know those contribute to team’s happiness and better business outcomes;
Positive, flexible, not intimidated by change, and have the desire to learn, improve and try new things when required;
You are a good communicator, strong in stakeholder management, relationship building and networking skills. Excellent facilitation and storytelling skills, ability to present your work and promote your ideas to various stakeholders.
