Here’s what we know for sure: companies work well when they’ve got the right people. That’s what inspired us to build a SaaS platform that makes recruiting, on-boarding, developing and retaining people simple. From humble beginnings in Melbourne, we quickly grew and now we’re proud to have homes in Sydney, New York, London, Singapore, Manila and Dublin and a platform that is used by 2.6 million customer employee users in over 190 countries. (But that’s enough about us.)
About the role
We have a large Postgres data warehouse and pipelines built using DBT, Python, Docker, Lambdas and other AWS technologies. It fuels the Reporting & Analytics offering for our some of our Customers as well as some internal data projection capabilities for product capabilities. As such, this itself is a fantastic technology space to work with. But that’s not all, we are keen to take this to the next level.
In the short term we are looking to transition all our customers to the new offering based on the technologies above with Looker being the front end for Analytics experience. That means we have to think enterprise scale and volume. We have some of the best tools in the business to enable system observability using OpenTelemetry & Honeycomb.
Overtime we want to grow into Data science, leveraging our data warehouse, pipeline & analytics capability to build a modern next generation data science and machine learning learning offering enabling the customer jobs to be done.
We are looking for someone who is excited about this journey, someone who has seen parts of this journey in previous workplaces, familiar with at least some of the technologies mentioned. This is a key role in building and influencing the long term outcome and has good potential for growth.
